Doesn't Move App

Não Move (lit. Doesn't Move) is an online platform that collects complaints related to public transportation in the city of Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais. It was created in 2014 by two students of the city to criticize the implementation of MOVE, a fast bus transport system, by the city hall (BHTrans). With the platform, users can make complaints about problems such as service provision, delays, disregard of the itinerary and stops, theft/robbery, overcrowding and disrespectful service providers. Não Move also uses social networks such as Facebook, Twitter and Instagram to report problems, send real-time pictures and use hashtags to collect demands, as well as transparency and popular pressure tools. In 2014, there were more than 1000 complaints registered on the platform, however with the use of multiple platforms there is no method for detecting the exact number of demands made through this initiative.
