Várzea 2020
The participatory contest "Várzea 2022" was organized by the Instituto Cidade Democratica in collaboration with the municipal government of Várzea Paulista within the framework of the "Várzea Paulista Development Plan towards 2022". Open calls were launched to transform the city of Várzea in accordance with the preferences and initiatives of the community. Citizens, civil society, companies, churches and public managers could participate by sending their ideas and projects, which were selected by vote over a digital platform. The project focused particularly on developing a Youth Agenda for this community.
