Brasil.io COVID-19 Municipal Data
The Brasil.io platform, maintained by Álvaro Justen and 40 other volunteers, was created to allow daily monitoring and updating of data on infections and contagion of COVID-19 during 2020. The project was initiated in response to the lack of reliable data at the national level, and is based on a strategy for the recovery and "liberation" of municipal databases, from which they are able to reconstruct a nationwide mapping of the evolution of the pandemic. They also offer various data visualization tools to assist with the interpretation and accessibility to this information.
