Cycling Thematic Chamber
The Bicycle Thematic Chamber was created to advise the Municipal Transportation and Transit Council. Its purpose is to monitor existing policies related to cycling and make recommendations to improve them and/or create new policies. It is a space for dialogue between the public sector and 22 representatives of civil society, who are appointed taking into account criteria of regional representation, gender parity and the candidates nominated by the organizations Ciclocidade and CicloBr. The chamber meets regularly and prepares minutes of its meetings, which are published on the website of the municipality of Sao Paulo.
