Thematic Chamber for Pedestrian Mobility
The Thematic Chamber for Pedestrian Mobility was created to advise the Municipal Transportation and Transit Council. Its purpose is to monitor existing policies related to pedestrian mobility in the city, and make recommendations to improve them and/or create new policies. It is a forum for dialogue between the public sector and 20 representatives of civil society, who are elected in a public plenary, taking into account regional representation criteria. The chamber meets regularly and prepares minutes of its meetings, which are published on the São Paulo municipality's website.
