City Council of Recife
The City Council of Recife was created by the municipality of Recife as an advisory body on urban and environmental management policies to improve life quality in the city. Representatives of civil society organizations, academic institutions as well as businessmen and women participate in the Council, identifying challenges and proposing policies. The Council is chaired by the mayor of Recife and has a plenary and working groups.
