Debates on mobility and transportation in São Paulo
The Debates on Mobility and Transport in São Paulo were organized by the network Our São Paulo (in Portuguese Rede Nossa São Paulo) and the city's Municipal Chamber, and were held from May to October 2010. The purpose of the debates was to obtain input from citizens, business people from the transport sector and civil society organizations, in order to create a mobility agenda for the city, addressing the main challenges of this sector, and discussing the main elements of a Municipal Plan for Sustainable Mobility and Transport. To this end, four meetings were held in the Municipal Chamber, in which first a topic was presented and then debated.
