Participation for Environmentally Sustainable Development and Social Integration in the Public Spaces
The ?Participation for Environmentally Sustainable Development and Social Integration in the Public Spaces of the Municipality of La Reina? is a project that falls under the framework of the national program of "Modernization of the State - A Participatory State at the service of the citizenry" developed between 2004 and 2008. The overall objective of this program is to contribute to the modernization of the state through practical and replicable experiences of participative management of the public space, incorporating the participation of the neighbors in the management of the municipality. Its purpose is to tackle the existing conditions that inhibit citizen participation, while strengthening the capacities of social organizations.
