Public Consultation Domínicos Park
The Public Consultation Domínicos Park was carried out in 2011 by the Municipality of Las Condes in order to hear the opinion of the citizens regarding the closure and privatization of the aforementioned park, adjacent to the Domínicos Church, both protected by the heritage status of the city. On June 7, 2011, the community rejected the proposal with 81% of the votes. 5000 residents of the Las Condes neighborhood participated in the vote. The authorities respected the popular will and the park was not closed or privatized.
