Latin American Network of Legislative Transparency
Latin American Network of Legislative Transparency is a group of organizations from Latin American civil society that carries out an agenda of monitoring of the national parliaments in order to increase the transparency. In Chile this network is integrated by the Ciudadano Inteligente (lit. Smart Citizen) Foundation and the Transparency Chile organization. Among the activities carried out by the Network are the elaboration of a Legislative Transparency Index, progress reports on the subject and the Declaration on Parliamentary Transparency. The materials are produced by local organizations and their compilation allows to carry out comparative studies of them in order that the general public can monitor their parliaments in an informed manner.
