Center for Gender and Equity

The Center for Gender and Equity is a space made up of a group of civil society organizations working on the theme of gender and equity. Established in 2013, this Center aims to be an open forum for debate through which it can influence the public agenda, propose management alternatives and carry out specific policy evaluations, always with a view to gender equity in Chile. Among its activities, the Center participates in several specific campaigns, while at the same time hosting information and news relevant to its work agenda through its website. It is composed of dozens of organizations and was created through support from UNIFEM Cono Sur and OXFAM. It has also received contributions from the Friedrich Ebert Foundation and the Salvador Allende Foundation.
