Air Passanger App

The Air Passenger App is a free application developed by the Chilean Civil Aeronautical Board and the Ministry of Transport and Telecommunications. Its main objective is to provide citizens with information about their rights and duties in the context of air transport. The platform also has a complaints box, where passengers can turn to the National Consumer Service (SERNAC), which can mediate a solution between the citizen and the airline. Through these two simple functions, the Air Passenger application contributes to the quality of democracy by distributing the necessary information so that passengers can make decisions in an informed manner in situations in which their rights may be violated, such as in the case of a cancellation or loss of luggage.

Type of participants: those who participate are individual citizens, civil society organizations, private stakeholders or a combination of those?
