National Council of Higher Education
The National Council of Higher Education (Span. CESU) is a body created to support the Ministry of National Education in order to achieve the purposes of the System of Quality Assurance Education. Its functions are based on the orientation, planning, advising, coordination and recommendation of the public policies of higher education in Colombia. CESU was created in 1992 as a collegial body made up of representatives of the academic and scientific communities, the country's productive sector and representatives of official institutions involved in the development of the education sector at the highest level.
