Women Consultative Council
The Women Consultative Council is an instance in which representatives from Bogotá authorities and from women organizations, groups and networks gather to develop the Public Policy for Women and Gender Equality of the city. This Council should articulate, coordinate and agree in consultative, technical and political terms, on everything related to the aforementioned Public Policy, representing the needs and interests of women and their diversity. The Council was originally created in 2007 and was later updated in 2014 as a space to encourage and guarantee the participation and representation of women in Bogota.
