Observatory against Street Harassment Colombia
The Observatory against Street Harassment (OCAC) Colombia is an organization that seeks to make street harassment visible as a form of gender violence. The OCAC was created in Chile in 2013 as a space where women and men can give testimonies and their opinion regarding the aggressions that occur in the public thoroughfare. Starting in 2014, the OCAC LatAm Node Network was established in Bolivia, Colombia, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Nicaragua and Uruguay. The OCAC is also part of the Latin American and Caribbean Network against Street Sexual Harassment, following the organization's standards in the region: Acción Respet in Argentina, Chega de Fiu Fiu in Brazil, Stop street harassment in Peru, and Hollaback in the Bahamas Ecuador and Colombia.
