Bogotá Hears You
Bogotá Hears You is the web platform of the Mayor's Office of Bogotá, created with the goal to allow citizens to report urban problems and communicate concerns to the city administration. This platform was developed upon the already existing experience of the District System for the Management of Citizen Petitions, active since 2015. Currently, the website allows users to report problems or file complaints, and the platform assigns these to potentially responsible secretariats. Likewise, citizens can search for complaints or similar reports and subscribe to stay informed on their status, since the platform also updates the information in this regard, for example, when a local authority takes the complaint or recommendation and acts on it.

Mode of Selection of Participants: is the innovation open to all participants, access is restricted to some kind of condition, or both methods apply?
Type of participants: those who participate are individual citizens, civil society organizations, private stakeholders or a combination of those?
Decisiveness: does the innovation takes binding, non-binding or no decision at all?
