Zonal Committee of Santa Tecla
The Zonal Committee of the municipality of Santa Tecla is a mechanism for citizen participation that involves two representatives of each of the neighborhood organizations of a colony, neighborhood, community, hamlet or canton. In this space they analyze and discuss the different problems that exist in their territory and propose the best solutions. These conclusions and solutions are presented to the Citizen Council of Local Development of the municipality. Representatives of the Zonal Committee can participate in the Citizens' Assembly, exercise control functions and evaluate projects.
