Citizen Monitoring of the National Budget of Social Spending
Citizen Monitoring of the National Budget of Social Spending gave citizens the ability to exercise monitoring control over the budget. In particular, the social assistance program "Solidarity Rural Communities" of the Government of El Salvador was audited. The main objective of the experiment was to supervise the delivery of state aid to health and education in rural areas of the country.
