Five-Year Development Plan (2014-2019)
The Five-Year Development Plan (2014-2019) was based on a process of broad citizen participation that included the reflection and inclusion of more than 13,000 people. It consisted of processes of dialogue and consultation, held in 5 modalities: territorial, sectoral, abroad, specialized and by electronic means. There were 254 consultation events (inside and outside the country), in which people from different sectors participated. In addition, 59 consultation workshops were organized in 31 countries involving 959 Salvadorans and Salvadorans living abroad. A consultation was held in each department, while the Ministries and institutions of the executive held 109 additional consultation events involving 4039 people. These included representatives of various organizations and institutions of civil society, academia and the private sector. Finally, a total of 4,372 people participated in the Plana consultation in electronic media.
