Vigilantes Neighbors Program
The Neighbors Vigilantes Program is an educational crime prevention program in communities, based in the organization of neighbors and reliant on co-operation with the designated community policeman. Its main objective is to ensure an appropriate emergency response. It promotes social cohesion and the participation of citizens in the task of improving their environment, as well as promoting peaceful coexistence among neighbors of a community. In the same vain, it seeks to bring the police and the community closer together by fostering a close and collaborative relationship.
