Mancomunales Committees of Water
Inhabitants from the basins participate in the Mancomunales Committees of Water. They encourage the input of communities in decision-making on water management and the execution of actions. The Committee discusses and decides on issues such as forest protection, user fees, payment for environmental services and all issues related to integrated water resources management. Although the mayors support them, they do not have legal and institutional support at the national level.
