Accountability Forum: "Open Forum with People"
The "Open Forum with People" is a mechanism for citizen participation and accountability attended by organizations, institutions and companies with which the Ministry of Public Works has entered into contracts. Headlines tell citizens about the progress of public works, what has been done and what not, as well as provide information on the financial projections. It is held annually in June. Participants come from communities where they were or will be performing works, as well as the population in general. In 2010, the first accountability forum was held, counting on an attendance of approximately one thousand people
