Strategic Plan of Villa Gesell
The Strategic Plan of Villa Gesell began to be created in 1999, with the aim of creating a consensus table that allows the expression of and agreement between different actors of society, such as district and grassroots organizations, neighbors, and a technical-political team of the Municipality. The Roundtable (which later became the General Council of the Strategic Plan) was the first step towards the creation of the Strategic Plan, allowing the representation of the actors in order to guarantee the coordination and representativeness of the whole community. The work methodology of the development process for the Strategic Plan was concentrated in generating spaces and mechanisms of group discussion. The thematic axes worked were: Identity, Tourism, Work, Integrated City, Inclusive and Solidarity Society, Infrastructure, and the Region.
