Citizen Care Centers of the Institute of Access to Public Information
The Citizen Care Centers are mobile structures in charge of the Honduran Institute of Access to Public Information. They seek to be a direct and timely extension of the digital services that this Institute offers to the Honduran population at a national level. These spaces enable citizens to empower themselves with information concerning the use and management of the public resources of their communities and of all the institutions that administer public funds in the country. To this end, through the Mobile Centers, citizens can enter the portals of Transparency. In addition, the Centers allow people to make online requests for information from the computers installed there. The Centers aim to shorten the technological gap between the different sectors of the Honduran society.
