National Council of Population and Family
The National Council of Population and Family is an advisory and consultative council originally created in 1968 which is still in operation ? as of this publication. It was conceived with two primary functions: to carry out census and population statistics and to coordinate with civil society organizations which deal with topics related to family and population in order to elaborate on proposals to the Presidency.
