?Usted Abusó? (lit. You Abused)
?Usted Abusó? (lit. You Abused) was a project launched in 2012 by the civil association "Leadership and Vision" with the objective of monitoring compliance with the norms that regulated the electoral campaigns of that year in Venezuela. Through a Twitter account and a website, this group called for the creation of a platform for reporting breaches to rules, so that any citizen who witnessed any irregularities could send an anonymous complaint. Complaints had to be accompanied with a photo and a comment; for example, campaign posters, advertising spots or behaviors of campaigners that were contrary to the provisions of electoral regulations. The website team then published the complaint by adding the extract of the corresponding regulation and showing the contravention.
